We welcome 2017 with some good news. Two
years ago the council installed a cycle path at the roundabout on Acton High
Street and Steyne Road. People frequently parked their cars on it, blocking the
path and making it unusable. Many cyclists complained, and for nearly two
years, Ealing Cycling Campaign has lobbied the council to do something. In mid
December, the council installed some bollards along the edge of the path. This
should ensure that in future the path will be car-free.
