Bike Week 14 - 22 June

To celebrate Bike Week, we're organising a host of rides and events. Residents can have their bikes checked for free at Dr Bike events taking place at West Ealing Farmers’ Market on 14 June and at Hanwell Carnival on 21 June. A series of organised rides is also planned, including the popular Sunset Ride on 18 June that leaves from Ealing Town Hall at 7pm and finishes with a drink in a pub watching the sun go down from Richmond Hill. The week closes on Sunday 22 June with a family-friendly ride and picnic that leaves Ealing Town Hall at 10am. All the rides are ideal for beginners or people who want to gain some road skills. Nick Manthorpe, borough coordinator of the Ealing Cycling Campaign, says: “Bike Week provides the ideal opportunity to experience the joys of cycling. It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced cyclist or a novice, there is an event for you this year, so please come along and join in the fun.” All the details are on our Rides and Events page.
