Mystery Tour of West London 2008

26 turned out for the first ride of the year, an impressive mix of old and new faces as well as ages. An unsteady start led to the group being split by the time we reached Haven Green but we soon re-grouped and took off to see the Alms Houses in Acton before taking a leisurely route into west London to see Freestonia. As usual we saw a side of London not normally seen if you are in a car or tube. We continued into Holland Park to see a hidden patch of green in the middle of London for a welcome tea break and a chance to chat.

We then wove through more of west London before finding the Thames and taking the river along Hammersmith and into Chiswick House.

The group divided into the usual subgroups of people wanting to get home or stay longer for a late pub lunch.
